Rapid Head & Prop Hire is a proudly Australian-owned business built from the ground up by engineer tradesperson Cameron. Cameron turned a simple site difficulty into one of Australia’s most trusted names in temporary steel lintel support systems.
What began as a single, hand-made Rapid Head has grown into a thriving Queensland manufacturing operation producing hundreds of high-quality temporary heads, jacks, and acrow props, all manufactured, tested, and shipped directly from our Gold Coast workshops.
Engineered to Solve Site Bottlenecks
Drawing on his dual background in structural engineering and on-site construction trades, Cameron set out to solve a persistent on-site problem — saving builders, blocklayers, and framers massive downtime and structural wood timber wastage.
By replacing traditional wooden structural bracing with precision-sliding high-grade steel brackets, the Rapid Head system allows masons to establish doorway and window block work openings instantly. It can be removed in seconds without carpentry adjustments once the masonry settles.
Each head is meticulously welded, tested and stressed using Australian-sourced premium steel. This guarantees compliance with strict safety requirements, certified by WAM Engineers Pty Ltd.
